PET BLESSINGS AT ST. BARNABAS - VILLAS Sunday, October 5, 2008, 2:00 PM

Honey Bunny On Sunday October 5th, St. Barnabas by the Bay Episcopal Church in Villas, will celebrate The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of all animals, with a blessing of animals at a 2:00 p.m. service in the yard at St. Barnabas, 13 W. Bates Avenue, Villas (in the event of rain, the service will be held in the parish hall). 

Please bring your cats, dogs, iguanas, guinea pigs, turtles, snakes, hamsters, gerbils, ant farms or any other pets to this outdoor service.  Horses, llamas, donkeys, and other really large pets are also welcome and encouraged! As part of the service, each pet will receive an individual blessing and a certificate of blessing.

St. Barnabas-by-the-Bay in Villas, (www.stbarnabasvillas.org), 13 West Bates Avenue in Villas, holds weekly services on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.  All are welcome!
